*Fitment Note: Due to the large ducting to scoop maximum amounts of air, certain aftermarket hoods that have center vents may have clearance issues. We recommend checking out Vaarticus’ install video as a reference for clearance.

This intake system features a full-width air deflector to ram as much air as possible into the engine through the massive 120mm air filter!

Significant gains have been shown on our Stock Turbo powered Mk8 GTI when compared to the factory inlet/intake which can be seen on the dyno chart below where all testing was performed back to back on our Mustang chassis dyno, with identical ambient conditions. We also took great care to make sure fluid and even tire temperatures were consistent. Finally, we chose the average runs out of each set of 4 for the comparison. No cherry picking here, we really wanted to see what kind of gains these parts offer in a fair environment.
